Yueqi He warmly welcomed the visit of the alumni from the Intelligent Manufacturing Alumni Association and expressed gratitude for their long-term support to the development of the college. He emphasized that the alumni are the pride of the college and the backbone of its development. He hoped that the alumni would continue to care about the development of the college, strengthen communication and cooperation, provide a valuable platform for student development, deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research, and build a collaborative community between the college and enterprises in nurturing talents.
Nianwen Xiang introduced the basic situation of the college, including its disciplinary layout, research characteristics, faculty strength, base platforms, research achievements, and development of the college. The college keeps up with the international development forefront in terms of disciplinary development and scientific research. It has focused on areas such as new energy generation and energy internet, integration of new energy, aircraft lightning protection and high voltage insulation. The college has undertaken various national major and key projects and has a significant impact both domestically and internationally. Xiang Nianwen hoped that the alumni would frequently return to their alma mater to exchange ideas, care about the development of the college, and provide suggestions for its development.
Wenhua Zhang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the teachers at the college. He reviewed his own growth experience at Hefei University of Technology and introduced the preparations, background, and current development of the Intelligent Manufacturing Alumni Association. He expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation and communication with the college, expand platforms in talent cultivation, research cooperation, employment, and internships, and jointly cultivate outstanding industry backbone and leaders.
Liqiang Zheng expressed his desire to strengthen targeted communication and cooperation with the college, combining the key development directions of the college and the key goals of enterprise development to carry out in-depth cooperation. Through research cooperation, talent cultivation, and employment internships, they aim to provide high-quality talents for alumni enterprises and provide excellent platforms for student development.
Wei Sun introduced the research characteristics, faculty strength, major projects, and experimental platforms of the college. He hoped that both parties could strengthen communication in research cooperation. Lipeng Li introduced the basic situation of the college's students and the employment situation of graduates. He hoped that both parties could deepen their cooperation through activities such as the "Dual Carbon Youth Leading Enterprises" program, face-to-face meetings with outstanding alumni, and the participation of science and technology elites on campus. They aim to create a model of collaborative education, jointly build a highland for school-enterprise cooperation in education, and promote mutual development and success.
